IAA-2026
Come and see what Zero refrigeration service hassle looks like.
Strike the past.
Fifty years of obligations. A maintenance plan packed with tedious rules and regulations. A red marker pen.
See what’s left when you strike through everything the ecos M24 no longer asks of you.
Hear the future.
Lean back, enjoy a natural refrigerant — and let your thoughts take a leap forward. Into a time shaped by the decisions we are making today.
Some journeys start in a chair.

This audio piece is a creative scenario exploring plausible futures for the transport refrigeration industry, based on publicly available regulatory information and industry analysis as of August 2026. It is produced for informational and editorial purposes only. Certain regulatory developments referenced in this piece — including the expected REACH/PFAS restriction covering hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs), the projected phase-out of fluorinated refrigerants by 2050, and ETS 2 carbon pricing trajectories — reflect current expectations based on published EU regulatory proposals and expert forecasts. These developments are subject to change. pbx cooling GmbH makes no legally binding representations regarding future regulatory outcomes. Synthetic refrigerants are running out of road. The EU F-Gas Regulation and the expected 2027 REACH restriction will phase out fluorinated gases by the mid-2030s — and the industry’s usual response, switching from one synthetic refrigerant to the next, only trades one regulatory risk for another. There is a way out. It starts with natural refrigerants — and it’s simpler than the industry wants you to believe.
Most fleet calculations stop at purchase price, leasing, fuel and driver cost. The refrigeration unit shows up as a fixed line — and stays there. This whitepaper adds it back in: service costs, downtime, refrigerant pricing risk, payload loss, and resale value. Run the full calculation with hydrocarbons instead — and watch a few long-standing fleet assumptions quietly retire.
You've seen it. You've heard it. You've struck through it.
The question now is what you do with it.
